India named two different squads for the 3 match ODI Australia series. In the first 2 ODIs KL Rahul will be leading the team as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav were given rest.
While for the 3rd ODI their main squad which was announced for the World Cup will be played.
Ravichandran Ashwin was included in all the three matches. He will be seeing in this format after more than 1 and a half years. He was highly speculated that he will be there for the Indian squad in the World Cup but unfortunately he was missed out. Along with Ashwin one more allrounder was included in the team, Washington Sundar. He will also be present in all the three match series.
Axar Patel was not included for the first 2 ODI matches due to injury but if he will be fit then he will be included into the squad for the 3rd match.
