World cup match schedule for the 2023 Cricket World Cup has been released where the match between India and Pakistan will take place on 15th October at Narendra Modi Stadium, India. ICC already launched the world cup beautifully in space and created a history.
The World Cup will start from 5th October between the 2019 finalist England and New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium. India will play their first match on 8th October against Australia in Chennai.
League matches will start from 5th October and will continue till 12th November. The 1st Semi-Final will take place on 15th November in Mumbai and 2nd Semi-Final on 16th November in Kolkata. Final will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium on 19th November. Both Semi-Finals and Final will have a reserve day. 20th November will be the reserve day for the Final.
10 teams will compete against each other to get the glorified trophy on 19th November. 8 teams already qualified for the league stages whereas 2 teams will be added after the qualifier tournament which is going in Zimbabwe and we get the 2 teams on 9th July.
Total 10 venues have been shortlisted for the World Cup matches- Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamshala, Lucknow, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Kolkata.
Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will host the warm-up matches which will take place from 29th September to 3 October.
