England needed a huge win against Oman so that their chances for the Super 8 increased , and they did the same way which was required and destroyed them by 8 wickets.
Both teams suffered losses from their last encounters. England got beaten by Australia whereas Oman got treated harshly by the Scottish players.
Oman scored 47/2 in 13.2 overs and Engaldn simply chased down the target in 3.1 overs and scored 50/2. It was also the 4th lowest total in the T20 World Cup and the biggest win in terms of balls remaining in this ICC tournament.

The decision looked effective when their bowlers didn’t provide any easy runs to Oman. Only one batter crossed the double digit mark and that was Shoaib Khan who scored 11 runs. Except for him, none of the other batters crossed the double digit mark.
Bowlers did a fantastic job after restricting them to a low total. Adil Rashid bowled brilliantly in restricting the opposition by grabbing 4 wickets in his 4 overs and conceded only 11 runs. Jofra Archer and Mark Wood both got 3 wickets each. Both conceded only 12 runs in their spells.
Then in the chase, the destructive side was shown by the English batters. As they chased down in just 3.2 overs. Skipper Jos Buttler scored 24 runs in just 8 balls whereas Jonny Bairstow got the winning shot.
Bilal Khan and Kaleemullah got 1 wicket each.
