Brandon King valourous knock helped West Indies to win the T20 series

Brandon King the main architect from West Indies who laid the platform to win the decider by 8 wickets. Rain affected match waits for the homies  for little late but at the end with Shai Hope’s six the match gets ended. With a 3-2 lead they won the series.  

India put 165/9 in 20 overs which Caribbeans players chased down pretty easily in 18 overs and scored 171/2.

India won the 4th T20 match and made it interesting for the decider but unfortunately West Indies took the series home and won the match quite easily.  

Hardik Pandya after winning the toss goes for batting. This time the openers couldn’t get much and India lost their first wicket in the first over. Jaiswal this time fails to utilize much and Akeal Hosein gets him. Hosein takes the catch himself. Jaiswal made only 5 runs. (6-1). Then Hosein in his next over gets the other opener and dismisses Gill. Gill only scored 9 runs. (17-2).

Then for the 3rd wicket Tilak Varma and Suryakumar Yadav added 49 runs together. Roston Chase broke the partnership. Chase made a spectacular catch in his own delivery and took the wicket of Tilak Varma. Tilak Varma scored 27 runs. (66-3). Samson was the next man who departed. Shepherd gets him and his get series continues. Samson scored only 13 runs. (87-4)

Shepherd gets another wicket by dismissing Pandya. Holder gets the easy catch. Pandya batted pretty slow and made 14 runs in 18 balls. (130-5). After that Holder gets the top scorer from the Indian side, Suryakumar Yadav. Surya scored 61 runs from 45 balls which includes 4 fours and 3 sixes. (140-6)

Arshdeep then went after hitting a six in the previous delivery. A slower delivery from Shepherd touches the stumps directly as Asrshdeep misses it completely. Arshdeep scored 8 runs. (149-7). In the very next delivery, Shepherd gets the wicket of Kuldeep Yadav. Kuldeep goes on a golden duck. (149-8)

Axar was the next batsman dismissed. Holder bowls a slow wider ball and Axar tries to reach and bat just touches the toe end and Shepherd catches that quite easily. Axar made 13 runs. (161-9). Mukesh Kumar remains not out at 4 runs while Chahal also remains not out at the end but he couldn’t score any runs. India in 20 overs scored 165 runs with the loss of 9 wickets. 

Shepherd gets the credit for the most number of Indian batsmen and he picks up 4 wickets. Hosein and Holder got 2 wickets each. Chase gets 1 wicket.  

Caribbean’s also didn’t get a good start as Kyle Mayers departed early. Arshdeep in his 2nd over gets him. Mayers scored 10 runs. (12-1). After that a great partnership was built between Nicholas Pooran and King. 107 runs they put together for the 2nd wicket. Then part time off-spinner Tilak Varma who already shows great skills in his batting and now in bowling too took his 1st international wicket by dismissing Nicholas. He scored 47 runs in 35 balls. He hit 1 four and 4 sixes. (119-2)

The main architect of the match Brandon King whose unbeaten knock of 85 runs in 55 balls provided a clinical victory to the team. From  the starting he showed powerful hitting and took his team to the victory. He hits 5 fours and 6 sixes in his innings. Shai Hope also remained not out at the end and scored 22 runs in 13 balls. He hit the six in Jaiswal ball and got his team a 3-2 lead. 

Arshdeep and Tilak Varma took 1 wicket each.
