Josh Hazlewood was ruled out from WTC (World Test Championship) due to his ongoing Achilles and side issues. Michael Nesser will replace him in the squad.
Hazlewood was injured during the IPL (Indian Premier League) and he played only 3 matches and then returned to Australia. He was given rest so that he will regain his fitness and join the squad before the Ashes after WTC.
Michael Neser, who recently played for Glamorgan in the English country championship grabbed 19 wickets in 5 matches and also scored a century. His eye-catching performance makes him a selection above Scott Boland who was also seen in extreme form in recent matches.
