KKR is still in search of a collective team effort win. They won two matches one with the help of Shardul Thakur and the other with the help of Rinku Singh. Last two matches were lost by the team.
Venkatesh Iyer ton during their last encounter against MI goes in vain. He is in the race of orange cap. It was KKR 1st century after McCullum in the inaugural match of IPL in 2008. Nitish Rana also provides some handy knocks but he is also not consistent. Gurbaz started the season with some hard hitting knocks but in later matches he failed to contribute much. Jason Roy might be used in place of him. In that case Jagadeesan will be gloves holding behind the wickets. Rinku Singh also showed some class in the finish of the innings. Russell hard hitting knocks are missing.
Team is basically dependent upon their wrist spinners. Chakravarthy, Narine and Suyash provide some useful wickets. Their pacers Ferguson, Umesh and Shardul provided heavy runs to their opposition and they were highly expensive in their death overs.
Iyer ton goes in vain against MI.
DELHI CAPITALS (DC) Analysis:

DC is still in search of a win this season. This might be their one of the worst seasons going but Warner is still in belief that the team might be on a winning track soon.
David Warner scored three half centuries in 5 matches but they all came with a low strike rate. He is also in the race of orange cap. Except Warner none other batsman of DC is providing some crucial knocks in between the overs. Prithvi Shaw is miserably failing to give a good start. Manish Pandey was seen in good touch against RCB. Marsh is back to the team but he gets out on a duck. Axar Patel also provides some blast in the finishing overs.
Their pacers Nortje, Rahman and Marsh are mostly expensive in their spells. Axar and Kuldeep provided some relief to the team by taking some wickets. Kuldeep also had a good record against KKR.
Pandey fighting innings cant change the fortune of DC.
