Bumrah’s hilarious reaction to fake news goes viral

Ever since Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah got injured many rumours have surfaced related to his health. Now in one latest media edition, the Indian pacer took a jibe over the false news.

In his social media handle (X), he said, “I know fake news is easy to spread but this made me laugh .  Sources unreliable.”

He got back spasms during the last and fifth test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy due to which he was unable to bowl in the 2nd innings. He was rushed to the hospital immediately as soon as he got the problem during the 1st innings of the Australian innings. After that he came to bowl in the 2nd innings but unfortunately he returned back immediately after having the same problem again.

After returning to India, the reports suggested that he might miss the group stage matches of the Champions Trophy and get fit in March. The team is in Group A along with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand.

Then some media reports revealed that the player is in complete bed rest and might go to BCCI’s Centre of Excellence (CoE) in the next week. To which Bumrah with his social media account slashed the fake news related to him.

India is yet to announce their 15 members squad for the upcoming ICC tournament. The last date for making any changes into the squad is February 12th. It is expected that the selectors might make their call for the squad on January 18th or 19th.
