Indian skipper Rohit Sharma has been out of form for quite a few months. He faced difficulties in scoring runs and in the series against Australia he made an unwanted record.
He just scored 9 runs in the 2nd innings of the 4th Test (MCG) and was dismissed by Australian skipper Pat Cummins. It was the 6th instance in the Test that the Aussie skipper dismissed the Indian skipper, which is the most by any captain who dismissed the other captain. Earlier the record was held by Richie Benaud who dismissed Ted Dexter 5 times.

Earlier Rohit was dismissed by Cummins in the 1st innings also where he managed just 3 runs. In the last 8 test matches, Sharma scored only 155 runs with an average of 11.07 which includes only one 50+ knock.
The Border-Gavaskar trophy is currently 1-1 where India won the first match by 295 runs whereas Australia won the second test by 10 wickets. The third test was a draw.
