Finally after so much chaos, the full detailed schedule of the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy has been released. The tournament will kick start from February 19th and the final will be played on March 9th.
The most awaited encounter between India and Pakistan will take place on February 23rd at Dubai. All the matches of the Indian team will be played at Dubai. Semi Finals will be played on March 4th and 5th. The 1st semi final will be played at Dubai if India reaches and on failing the match will be played at Lahore while the 2nd will be played at Lahore. The Final will be played at Dubai if India reaches, if failing the venue will be shifted to Lahore.
The first match of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19th at Karachi. Total 10 matches to be played at the defending team nation which included Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi to the list during the league stage and the 2nd Semi Final. Whereas Dubai got 3 matches during the league stage. The remaining 2 matches (Semi Final 1 and Final) will be fixed depending upon the situation.
Pakistan will be the host of the tournament. The chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, said, “We are pleased that an agreement has been reached based on the principles of equality and respect, showcasing the spirit of cooperation and collaboration that defines our sport.
