India finally announced their 15 members squad for T20s and ODIs against Sri Lanka. Suryakumar will lead the T20 whereas Rohit Sharma will be leading the ODI side.
Jasprit Bumrah has been given rest in both the formats whereas Shubman Gill has been the vice-captain of the team in both the formats. Virat Kohli will also be seen in the ODIs. It will be the first assignment of Gautam Gambhir as a head coach for the Men In Blue. The series will kick start from June 27th.
Arshdeep Singh has been picked in both the squads along with Washington Sundar. Hardik Pandya who was earlier expected to be the leader of the team in the shortest format has been selected in T20 only.
New face of the team will be Harshit Rana who marked his place for the very first time in internationals whereas and got his name in the ODI along with Riyan Parag who also got his name for the very first time in the ODIs.
Rishabh Pant is included in both the list of the keepers along with Sanju Samson (T20) and KL Rahul (ODI).
