A brilliant batting display by Salt and Jonny Bairstow helped England register an easy victory over West Indies by 8 wickets.
West Indies scored 180/4 in 20 overs and in reply England posted 181/2 in 20 overs.
In their previous groups, both the teams ended up victorious in their respective matches. The English team got a great victory against Namibia and put their chances more bright in the Super 8 while the Caribbean team showed their domination against Afghanistan in the last match.

Caribbean batters showed their fierce power from the start. Johnson Charles and Nicholas Pooran got little slow with the bat as Charles scored 38 runs in 34 balls while Pooran scored 36 runs in 32 balls.
Then skipper Rovman Powell showed his powerful hitting after scoring 36 runs in 17 balls in which he hit 5 sixes. In the end, Sherfane Rutherford also showed his huge power and scored 28 runs in 15 balls.
Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali and Liam Livingstone got 1 wicket each.
In the chase, Salt became the first man in this season to score a half-century. He got unbeaten on 87 runs in 47 balls. He hit 7 fours and 5 sixes in his knock and has a strike rate of 185.11.
He was well supported by Bairstow from the other end as both of them added 97 runs for the unbeaten 3rd wicket. Bairstow got 48 runs in 26 balls. He hit 5 fours and 2 sixes.
