Teams Analysis
Australia (AUS):
Though Australia managed victory in their first encounter but for that they had to make a hard fight team against the weak team Oman. All the credit goes to Oman bowlers who made the Aussies sweat for each and every run.
Australian skipper, Mitchell Marsh, though got the victory in his first ICC championship match but his batting was still a main concern. In that match he only managed 14 runs in 21 balls. His strike rate was 66.67 and that he needed to improve in the remaining matches.
David Warner despite scoring a brilliant half-century in that match where he scored 56 runs. But that was a little slow as he took 51 balls to reach there. He hit 6 fours and a six in his innings and has a strike rate of 109.80. It was also his last international tournament as after this he will retire from this form of cricket. Travis Head, on the other hand, missed to show his power of destruction as he only scored 12 runs in just 10 balls. But still he is still a nightmare to the bowlers if he sets foot on the field.
One of the main concerns for Australia will be the batting failure of Glenn Maxwell, he has been inconsistent in batting from quite a time. But his bowling gets little improved but he needs to be more accurate with his batting. The hero in the match against Oman, Marcus Stoinis, who topped there from the team in both the departments. With the bat he scored 67 runs while with the bowl he got 3 wickets to his credit. Stoinis was aggressive in his batting also where he played only 36 balls and had a strike rate of 186.11.
Mitchell Starc, continued his ruthless form which he left in the IPL and got 2 wickets in his 3 overs of spell. He gave only 20 runs. He is known for aggression from the start and in the death overs. Nathan Ellis also supported him from the other end and named 2 wickets in that match. Adam Zampa has shown the brilliance in the spin department after taking 2 wickets there in his 4 overs by conceding only 20 runs.

Mitchell Marsh ©, David Warner, Travis Head, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, Matthew Wade, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, Nathan Ellis, Josh Hazlewood.
England (ENG):
The first match of theirs was washed away due to rain which was against Scotland. Though the match got washed away, there has been a little concern for them as their bowlers were unable to get any wickets. They didn’t get a chance to bat due to the rain.
Skipper Jos Butler has been in decent form in recent times. He scored 2 centuries while chasing in IPL and this form he definitely wants to continue in this tournament also. He has been leading the team for a long time and carries huge experience in this.
Phil Salt, the opener of the team has been seen in destructive form in the IPL, playing for KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders). He has been known for hitting from first over and can get into beast mode early on. Jonny Bairstow also has been in sensational form in recent times and played highly aggressive. He has a strike rate of 137.77 in T20s.
All rounders Moeen Ali, Will Jacks and Liam Livingstone will contribute in both the departments. All these are capable of hard hitting and can contribute well in the spin department. Livingstone has been the finisher of the team but he has been little out of touch with the hard hittings.
Bowlers didn’t do well in the first match. Jofra Archer who made a comeback after a long time bowled 2 overs and conceded 12 runs. His partner Mark Wood was also wicketless in that match and conceded 11 runs in 2 overs.
