Devon Conway started the tournament very well but after his first innings which was 152 against England he lost his rhythm. He has scored 314 runs in the tournament and some couple of 30’s after scoring his century but unable to convert those innings into a big one and got out early. Rachin Ravindra the young Lad from the team is the highest scorer from his team with 523 runs which includes three centuries and two half centuries. His average in the tournament is 74.71 with a strike rate of 107.39. He is currently playing his best in the tournament and also can bowl whenever required.
Kane Williamson the skipper of the team smashed 95 runs in his returning match which was against Pakistan. He is looking in great touch and in two matches he scored 2 half centuries. Will Young scored 206 runs in the tournament which includes two half centuries. His highest score was 70 runs against Netherlands. He performs quite well in the opening but due to the playing of Kane he has to remain in the dugout.
Daryl Mitchell One of the greatest players in the team has 375 runs in his credit which includes one century and two half centuries. He is a great hitter of the ball and striking with the strike rate of 108.07. He is contributing well in the middle part of the team and if he gets going in the death overs then he becomes more aggressive. Mark Chapman Is a hard heater of the ball but in this World Cup it was missing out. His highest score is 39 runs which came in the last match against Pakistan and in the remaining matches in which he batted, unable to contribute much.
Glenn Phillips has been contributing well with bat and ball. He scored 227 runs in the tournament with two half centuries and his highest score was 71 runs which was against Afghanistan. James Neesham played aggressively and he showed this against Australia where he scored 58 runs and took his team to a victory but unfortunately he got out and didn’t get there.

But in the last couple of games he was unable to get a single wicket. His best performance was against Netherlands where he took 5 wickets.
Trent Boult, one of the most experienced pacer in the team has 10 wickets to his pocket. He is a brilliant pacer in the death overs where batsmen find it difficult to play against him. Matt Henry got 11 wickets for his team but got injured and out of the World Cup. He was replaced by Kyle Jamieson. Tim Southee, one of the most experienced bowlers has played the last two matches but was unable to show his class as he got 3 wickets in those 2 matches but his spells were expensive.
Lockie Ferguson has 8 wickets in this tournament but was unable to play the last 2 matches due to his injury. Ish Sodhi played in the last match but gave away 44 runs in his 4 overs.
