Gudakesh Motie, GAW, Player of the Series.

“Hitting the right area was the key, it was a very good surface. I really enjoy bowling with Tahir and have had a good experience. Thanks to the crowd for all the support.”

Evin Lewis, SNP Captain,

“We were feeling positive at the halfway mark with the batters we have but it didn’t come off today. We could not get a good start or finish with the bat. The crowd has always been good here and hopefully we can put up a better show next time. We have to improve each and every game. The guys have to step up and it is as simple as that.”

Imran Tahir, GAW Captain,

“First game as captain and the boys did a fantastic job. They executed all the plans we have been working on and I am very happy. Mine and Motie overs were crucial in the middle and he bowled really well. That’s why we picked him. Hope he carries on, he bowled really well especially with dewy conditions and a wet ball.

I am a positive guy and that is the sort of cricket. I want my team to play, we have four all rounders and we can use them at any stage of the innings with bat or ball.”
