At the time of rain, India was 47/2 and according to D/L method the score must be 45/2 in 6.5 overs and they were 2 runs ahead.

Barry McCarthy, Ireland, Won the Player of the Match

“It is always good to contribute to the team, disappointed that we didn’t get a win. We knew we had to get a good score on the board. We were enforcing ourselves and playing strong shots. In the second innings there was a little bit in the wicket. It’s important to take the game to the opposition. It’s always nice to contribute to the team.”
