After two back to back victories KKR made a hattrick of losses. Their last match against DC was fighted well in the second innings but they didn’t score much to get past.

Jason Roy played the last match but he was hitting with a slow pace. Liton Das failed to impress in his first IPL match. Venkatesh Iyer is the top scorer from KKR side but he also got out on a duck in the last match. Rinku Singh’s consistency worries the team. Gurbaz was given rest in the last match but he might be played against CSK replacing Liton Das. Nitish Rana was struggling with his performance. Russell shows some boom in the last over against DC but he also scores with a slow pace.

Team Management mostly worried about the fast bowling lineup. Umesh Yadav, Lockie Ferguson and Shardul Thakur they all were expensive and didn’t provide the wickets when the team needed. They were mostly expensive in the death overs. Varun Chakravarthy and Sunil Narine tried to slow down the run rate of opposition through their spin attack. These two are taking wickets  and also being economical. Suyash Sharma also shows some spin to restrict the opposition.

CSK just a day before just finished the match against SRH and now they will fight against KKR. They won the last match by 7 wickets.

Their openers are in tremendous form. Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway handy knocks from the start put CSK in a great condition. These two are also strong contenders for the orange cap. Rahane is striking the ball like a bullet and his strike rate in this season is just too commendable. Shivam Dube also gets his rhythm back. Dhoni and Jadeja make the best use of death overs through their fours and sixes.

Jadeja leading in the bowling department for the team provides early break through to the team. Pathirana and Akash Singh wicket taking abilities help the team to put more pressure on opposition. Tushar Despande slowly getting his good line and length.
