Windies defeated south Africa clinch the series 2-1
After a few ups and downs West Indies finally wins the trophy after defeating South Africa in a close contest. Alzarri Joseph`s 5 wickets haul helped windies to make a strong comeback and restrict the home team just 7 runs below the par score.
First innings overview:
Like in the 2nd t20 windies here also starts the innings ferociously but in the 4th over Rabada strikes 2 wickets in 2 balls. Last match record holder centurion Charles goes with a golden duck. Second innings overview:
South Africa started their innings and lost De Kock early on. After that a great 80 runs partnership between Hendricks and Rossouw stabilized the innings later on. Captain Markram pushed the scoreboard quickly through his innings of 35 runs in 18 balls but the fall of Hendricks in the 19th over gave a strong comeback to the windies. Hendricks made a great 83 run innings before getting out in a slow full toss. Alzarri Joseph took 5 wickets for the windies which made a crucial comeback for the windies to win the match.
