WPL buyout for the 5 franchises took place today in which Kashvee Gautam and Vrinda Dinesh, two uncapped Indian players, got the highest Indian buyout. While Annabel Sutherland, Phoebe Litchfield and Shabnim Ismail also got over crores.
Kashvee will be seen under Gujarat who topped with an outstanding amount of 2 crores while Vrinda Dinesh was bagged by Uttar Pradesh after paying 1.3 crores. Annabel Sutherland will be seen playing for Delhi who also got the highest amount which was 2 crores. Shabnim Ismail joined the inaugural champion Mumbai Indians who bagged her for 1.2 crores. Gujarat also got Phoebe Litchfield after spending 1 crore.
