The destructive Aussie batter Travis Head departed ealy after scoring 12 runs only. David Warner who is playing his last T20 World Cup and last international tournament scored a hard fighting fifty. He made 56 runs in 51 balls and hit 6 fours and a six.
Towards the end, it was Marcus Stoinis whose unbeaten knock of 67 runs took his team to a great defendable total. He played 36 balls and hit 2 fours and 6 sixes and batted with a strike rate of 186.11.
Mehran Khan once again topped the chart of the team with 2 wickets in his credit while Bilal Khan and Kaleemullah got 1 wicket each.
During the chase, the top order failed to get some runs on the board. Ayaan Khan in the middle, showed some hard fighting against the Aussies and scored the most runs for the team after scoring 36 runs. Then Mehran Khan towards the end showed little destruction with the bat and scored 27 runs in 16 balls.
Marcus Stoinis in the bowling department also got most wickets for the team and grabbed 3 wickets in his pocket by giving away only 19 runs in his 3 overs. Mitchell Starc, Nathan Ellis and Adam Zampa got 2 wickets each.
