Rinku Singh with his spectacular performance got India 2 wickets victory over Australia in their 1st T20 match. It was a great performance by the batters from both the sides. But India makes the final laugh.
Australia posted 208/3 in 20 overs and in reply IND chased down the target in 19.5 overs and scored 209/8. Team in blue already won the ODI series by 2-1.

Aussies lost their first wicket in the 5th over when Mathew Short (13 runs) departed. After that 130 runs partnership for the 2nd wicket between Steve Smith (52 runs) and Josh Inglis (110 runs) made. Inglis made his highest T20 score and also hit his maiden century in this short format. He played 50 balls and hit 11 fours and 8 sixes in his knock.
In the end, Tim David (19 runs not out) showed some destruction and took the team total to 208 runs in 20 overs by losing 3 wickets.
Prasidh Krishna and Ravi Bishnoi got 1 wicket each.
During the chase, IND lost both their openers in just 22 runs. Then a 112 runs partnership was created for the 3rd wicket between Ishan Kishan (58 runs) and Suryakumar Yadav (80 runs). Yadav looked aggressive from the starting and played a leading role in the chasing. He hit 9 fours and 4 sixes in his inning.
Towards the end of the innings, the team suddenly start losing wickets but Rinku (22 runs not out) again proves his worth of being called a great finisher. In the end, the equation was 1 run in the last ball and Rinku hit that delivery to a six but it was a no ball, so that six was considered in the final runs. Therefore the team finally chased down the target in 19.5 overs and scored 209 runs by losing 2 wickets.
Tanveer Sangha got 2 wickets while Mathew Short, Sean Abbott and Jason Behrendorff got 1 wicket each.
