Shubman Gill always provides the runs for the team. He is performing constantly. He made 375 runs in 10 matches. Wriddhiman Saha also shows his batting strength against RR. It somehow provides a little bit of relief to the team as both of their openers show some good knocks. Since KL Rahul is out of the tournament since he has to go for his thigh surgery, Manan Vohra came to the team but he got out early scoring only 10 runs against CSK. Kyle Mayers is looking a little out of touch in his last two matches but still he is the leading run getter for his team and scored 311 runs in 10 matches

Krunal Pandya who already led Baroda in the domestic circuit was given captainship in place of KL Rahul. He is coming in the middle order but scoring runs looks dry. He needs to put more effort in his batting. Marcus Stoinis also needs to be more consistent in his batting. In the last two matches it looks like the shot which he got out doesn’t need to be hit at that point of time. Hardik Pandya improves his batting pretty much which can be easily seen in his last two matches. Against RR he just started hitting the ball from the very first ball. Vijay Shankar also looks in good touch in his last few matches.

David Miller the killer always showing destruction towards the end of the innings. But sometimes he misfires and gets out early. Abhinav Manohar also shows his rocket fire hitting in the death overs which eventually boost up the score. Rahul Tewatia also fires towards the end of the innings. Pooran is seen missing the balls, placing them out of the ground. LSG is missing his powerful hitting towards the death overs. Ayush Badoni now has been given the role of finisher and he proved himself by scoring 59 runs against CSK in just 33 balls.

LSG’s bowling attack needs to be more consistent. Their bowlers are not performing constantly due to which LSG is also facing hard to defend high scores. Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra the spin are mostly economical but sometimes they were expensive in their spells. They are also not consistent with their wicket taking ability. Naveen-ul-Haq provided some quick wickets early on but still he needs to be accurate with his lines. Krunal and Stoinis sometimes provide good bowling spells.

GT is looking very dangerous in terms of their bowling lineup. Mohd Shami and Rashid Khan both are placed 1st and 2nd in the purple cap list respectively. They both grabbed 18 wickets in the tournament till now. Noor Ahmed’s introduction to the team makes the spin department more strong. He is continuously taking wickets in the middle overs. Joshua Little and Mohit Sharma are also looking great in bowling. They also sometimes provide some great bowling spells.
