Rain destroys the 5th match which was between Jamaica Tallawahs (JT) and Barbados Royals (BR) and the 6th match which was between St Lucia Kings (SLK) and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SNP).
It was very hard for the SLK as their two out of four matches were washed away due to bad weather. Last match which was washed away was the match number 4 against Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW). Match number 3 couldn’t happen due to rain only.
The last 4 matches were to be played at Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet, St Lucia. But due to continuous continuous showering of water none of the matches was completed and all the teams were settled with 1 point each.
Match number 5 was fully damaged due to continuous watering from the sky but match number 6 was expected to be played but unfortunately due to the bad weather conditions the outfield didn’t allow the players to play.
CPL is one of the biggest leagues in the franchise system but this type of rain might affect them.
