The defending champion hasn’t been performing well in this World Cup. They just won only one match in their 7 matches. Their  strong point was their batting but in this tournament it was highly disappointing for each of the batsmen. Bowling point of view they made performed decently in the last two matches but in the remaining previous matches their performance was not up to the mark. Now to make them qualify for the Champions Trophy they have to win the remaining two matches with a big margin.

Dawid Malan is the only batsman from the team who scored a century in this tournament. Till now he has 286 runs which includes 1 century and one half century. His recent performance came against Australia where he scored 50 runs. His strike rate is 99.65. Jonny Bairstow on the other hand has been performing very poorly. He has just one half century to his name in this tournament. He scored 141 runs till now and his highest score was 52 runs which came against Bangladesh. 

Joe Root started the tournament with two half centuries back to back but after that he missed his performance. He is one of the greatest players in the team but his performance hasn’t come yet. His highest score is 82 runs in this tournament which came against Bangladesh. Ben Stokes came from his retirement and hasn’t yet performed well but in the last match against Australia where he scored 64 runs and looked like he took his team to the victory but he got out and unfortunately the team lost the match.  

Josh Butler The leader of the team hasn’t yet performed well with the bat. He has scored 106 runs  in the tournament till now and his highest score was 43 runs which came against New Zealand in the very first match which they played. Moeen Ali failed to perform in this world cup. He was unable to contribute in both departments. With the bat his highest score was 42 runs which came in the last match against Australia. 

Liam Livingstone, the hard hitter of the ball was unable to show his destruction in this tournament. He just misses his aggressive  batting in the death overs for which he is known for. He also has some great records in the Indian pictures but he cannot show this batting performance in this tournament. Chris Woakes One of the greatest all rounders in the team but well known as a bowler nowadays. In the beginning he had some poor performances in bowling but in the last two matches he showed some of his brilliant performances. Till now he took 8 wickets in the tournament in which 6 of them came in the last two matches. 

Adil Rashid  the only spinner in the team has taken 10 wickets till now in the tournament he is the leading wicket taker from the team. His economy is 4.93 which is the best in the squad in this tournament. His best performance was against Afghanistan where he took three wickets. David Willey, the other fast bowler from the team has 6 wickets in the tournament till now. In the last few matches he has bowled well. He can also bat well as he did in the domestic matches. 

Mark Wood, the speed star of the team has taken 6 wickets till now in the tournament. He was mostly expensive in his spells and conceded many runs to the opposition. Sam Curran One of the best all rounders in the team was not performing well with the ball . He conceded too many runs without getting many wickets and with the bat he was unable to make runs easily. 

Gus Atkinson played just one match in the World Cup against Afghanistan. There he took two wickets and with the bat he scored 35 brilliant runs for his team. Harry Brook Unable to perform well in the tournament. He just scored one half century for his team which came against Afghanistan where he scored 66 and in the remaining matches he was unable to score much and got out early.

Netherlands (NED) Analysis:

One of the most underrated teams in this tournament was Netherlands but they out classed the Other teams by showing a brilliant performance. Their batting performance was decent but their bowling was pretty much excellent due to which they got to wins in the tournament. Despite getting a Bbashed from Australia by a huge margin they bounced back and defeated the Bengal Tigers. 

Tournament performance so far:

Vikramjit Singh started the tournament with a brilliant half century against Pakistan but after that he was unable to score much in the remaining matches and got out early.  due to which he was left out from the team in the last match. Max O’Dowd  after scoring some low runs in the tournament was in good touch in the last match against Afghanistan where he scored 42 runs and was looking in a good touch but unfortunately got run out. 

Wesley Barresi  played in the last two matches where he scored 41 and one runs. He looked brilliant against Bangladesh due to which he came for opening in the match against Afghanistan but was unable to score much and got out early. Colin Ackermann  is a great  all rounder from his team. With the bat he is called 182 runs including 1 half century which came against New Zealand where he is code 69 runs and couple of times some 20 but was unable to convert those into a big one and with the ball in the tournament with some economical spells.

Bas de Leede has shown some brilliant performances on the pitch with his batting and bowling. But with the bone he showed much consistency as compared to that of his batting. With the ball he has 11 wickets in the tournament which is most by his team in this World Cup  but his economy is above 7 which needs to be taken under care. Sybrand Engelbrecht is the highest scorer from his team with 222 runs in his credit. He hit 2 half centuries in this tournament and his highest score is 70 runs in a game against Sri Lanka.    

Scott Edwards, the leader of the team has 204 runs in his account. He hit 2 half centuries and in those half centuries the team got to win the matches. His highest score is 78 runs which came against South Africa. Logan van Beek is the second highest wicket taker from his team who grabbed 10 wickets till now in the tournament. His best performance was against Australia where he got 4 wickets. 

Paul van Meekeren also got 10 wickets in the World Cup till now.  His economy is 5.52 which is the best in the team. His best performance was against Bangladesh where he got 4 wickets and also named as the player of the match. Aryan Dutt, the opening bowler of the team, has 8 wickets in his pocket.  till now he has been performing well in the team and giving some early breakthroughs which help the team to submit the opposition early.  

Roelof van der Merwe, one of the most experienced players in the International Circuit has played pretty well in this tournament and against South Africa where they defeated the Proteas by 38 runs in that match he performed brilliantly in both the departments and also in the fielding. Saqib Zulfiqar played two matches but wasn’t showing his brilliancy in those matches.  he has taken just one wicket which was against Afghanistan that came in the last match.

The match will be played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune. The bit is highly helpful for the better where easy runs can be scored. A high scoring match can be seen in this ground. The spinners might get some turn in the later part of the match.
