Pakistan (PAK) Analysis:
Pakistan started their journey with 2 back to back wins but after that they just lost the touch and lost 4 matches back to back. The sudden fall of their performance is still not fully discovered. Their weak fielding performance has been utilized well by the opposition. One of the main strengths was their bowling which was not seen in full power in this tournament.

Abdullah Shafique has been consistent throughout the tournament with 264 runs in 5 matches. He has scored 1 century and 2 half centuries to his name. He is batting with an average above 50 and has a strike rate close to 100. On the other hand Imam-ul-Haq has played a good innings against Australia where he scored 70 runs and in remaining matches he mostly got out between 10-20 runs. He is unable to pick the deliveries well and his weakness against the short pitch ball was used by the bowlers well against him.
Babar Azam the leader of the team has scored 3 half centuries in the World Cup till now and those 3 came in the last 4 matches. He is getting his form back but his strike rate is a little bit of concern as in this tournament most of the teams easily scored 300+ runs, so to get there he needs to be more aggressive with the bat. Mohammad Rizwan is also performing consistently and scored 333 runs for his team which is the most runs scored by a Pakistan player. His average is 97.37 with an average of 66.6. Till now he has 1 century and 1 half century to his name.
Iftikhar Ahmed hasn’t shown the performance for which the team is expecting from him. He has the ability to hit hard in the death overs but that was missing in this tournament. His highest till now was 40 runs which was against Afghanistan. Saud Shakeel started the tournament with a brilliant half century which came in a difficult situation but after that he scored a couple of 30’s but was unable to convert it into a big one. In the last match against South Africa there he also scored a 50.
Shadab Khan one of the best fielders from the side and a great all rounder. But his all round performance was not consistent. Though with the bat he scored some healthy runs at the end with the scores like 43, 40, 2 & 32 runs but with the ball for which he is well known for has taken just 2 wickets. Mohammad Nawaz, the hard hitter of the team also known as a great hitter of the ball hasn’t been able to score a half century. His highest score till now is 39 runs and in the remaining matches he couldn’t justify much and with the ball he has only 2 wickets.
Shaheen Afridi after getting punched in the starting few matches has now returned to his perfect line and length. He has taken wickets in each match he played and till now has named 13 wickets. His economy is also down to 6 per over. Haris Rauf started the World Cup with a brilliant 3 wickets haul and the economy was also under 5, but after that he was getting expensive in his spells and his economy was above 6 in all those matches. He took 10 wickets till now.
Mohammad Wasim Junior played his first match of the tournament which was against South Africa where he bowled brilliantly after claiming 2 wickets and also got a maiden over. He shows a lot of potential there. Usama Mir though he took 2 wickets in the last match against Proteas but has expensive spells in the remaining matches. Batsmen played him quite easily.
Hasan Ali started the journey with 6 wickets in first 2 matches but after that he got 2 wickets in next 3 matches which he played. He was included into the team in place of Naseen Shah who was injured in the Asia Cup. Salman Agha is also a brilliant all rounder from the side and he might be introduced into the playing 11 as they have nothing to be left to go to the next round.
Predicted 11 for the Match:
Babar Azam ©, Abdullah Shafique, Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Saud Shakeel, Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Salman Agha, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Wasim Junior.
Bangladesh (BAN) Analysis:
Bengal Tigers didn’t carry that winning attitude as they lost 5 consecutive matches and that too with a huge margin. They got their only victory against Afghanistan which was their inaugural World Cup. They were unable to maintain partnerships and with the bowl they looked helpless.

Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 59 runs against Afghanistan but after that in the remaining matches he remained in the single digits. His very poor batting show continues. Mushfiqur Rahim one of the best middle order batsman in the side has scored 2 half centuries to his name but was not scoring much in the remaining matches.

He has been performing well for his team but didn’t get much chance to explore. Taskin Ahmed, one of the most experienced bowlers from the side has got 4 wickets to his name. In the last match against the Netherlands he was looking a little better than before.
Mustafizur Rahman also didn’t make any influence with his bowling. He was one of the best bowlers in the death overs but in this World Cup he conceded too many runs. He has 4 wickets in his pocket till now. Shoriful Islam got the most wickets for his team as he got 8 wickets till now. But the economy, which is 6.51, is much higher than his normal performance.
Hasan Mahmud and Nasum Ahmed both of them played 2 matches but weren’t able to perform well and were expensive in their bowling spells.
