A comeback that everyone wants to see is definitely watching the Aussies, after losing two matches back to back they make a strong comeback after winning three consecutive matches. In the last match they made a record in the World Cup, by winning the match by a massive difference and then Maxwell scored a brilliant century.

David Warner bounced back in a heroic style where he scored back two centuries and equalled the record of Sachin Tendulkar for most centuries in the World Cup. He has scored 332 runs with an average of 66.4. Mitchell Marsh also found his rhythm back where he scored 189 runs which includes 1 century and 1 half century. Also in the last match against Netherlands he bowled well where he got 2 wickets. 

Steve Smith got his bat sounded after scoring his first half century in the last match against Netherlands. He is one of the greatest players from the team and his run momentum will keep them going. Marnus Labuschagne also scored his first half century in the World Cup which came against the Dutch. He started well but wasn’t able to convert that into a big one.  

Glenn Maxwell just tore the bowlers apart in the last match where he scored fastest World Cup century breaking the record of Aiden Markram that was created in this tournament only. He scored the century in just 40 balls. Not only with the bat but also with the ball he is economical and has taken 3 wickets till now. Jos Inglis scored a half century against Sri Lanka and is performing well in the middle overs. 

Cameron Green hasn’t shown his all round performance till now. He is a hard hitter in the death overs and has the ability to take wickets in the middle overs. Marcus Stoinis always didn’t get much chance to show his ability of hard hitting. Pat Cummins, the leader of the team has shown potential well with the bat and with the bowl he got 6 wickets. He is performing well till now.  

Mitchell Starc is bowling well but not looking in that touch for which he is known for. He has got 7 wickets in the tournament till now with an economy of 5.49. Adam Zampa makes a strong comeback after taking three consecutive 4 wickets. He has picked 13 wickets in the tournament with an average of 17.77.
