He scored 1 century and 2 half centuries till now. Shreyas Iyer scored a brilliant half century against Pakistan and is fulfilling the number 4 spot very well. 

KL Rahul has scored 150 runs till now in the tournament. He batted in 3 matches and in all the 3 matches he remained unbeaten. Against Australia he scored a brilliant 97 run innings which took the match away from them. Hardik Pandya injured during the last match against Bangladesh got his ankle injured and remained out from the match. He might also not be available for the match against the Kiwis. Though in the tournament he didn’t get much chance in batting but with his bowling he grabbed 5 wickets. 

Ravindra Jadeja has got 7 wickets in the tournament so far with an impressive economy of 3.75. Also he can bat well in the lower order and is full of destruction. Kuldeep Yadav continued his brilliant performance with the bat and took 6 wickets. He is always provided wicket whenever the team needs.

Jasprit Bumrah is highly lethal with the new ball and in the death overs. Batsmen find it difficult to play his yorker. Till now he got 10 wickets in the tournament with an impressive economy of 3.62 and averages 13.40. Mohammad Siraj might have problems with his expensive spell but has got 5 wickets till now. Against Pakistan his partnership breaking wicket helped India to get a low chasing target. 

Shardul Thakur has got 2 wickets in the tournament till now. He can bat also in the lower order. Ishan Kishan played 2 matches in the World Cup and his performance against Afghanistan was quite good. Ravichandran Ashwin also played one match where he got one wicket by giving away only 34 runs in his 10 overs.

Kiwis are performing well in the World Cup and won all the four matches till now. They are showing consistent performance in both the departments.

Devon Conway after starting a blister knock of 152 runs against England failed to get that rhythm again. In his last three matches he scored 32, 45 and 20 runs. He has a strike rate of 104.62 in this tournament. Will Young came in absence of Kane Williamson and hit back to back half centuries in his last two outings. Till now he scored 124 runs in 3 matches. 

Kane Williamson played only one match against Bangladesh where he scored 78 runs. During that match while taking a run he damaged his finger and retired from that match. Rachin Ravindra also started his journey with a maiden century in the World Cup. Till now he contributed 123, 51, 9 and 32 runs with his bat with an average of 71.67. He is fulfilling the space well in absence of Williamson. 

Daryl Mitchell is a great batsman for the team in the middle order. Against Bangladesh he played a superb knock of 89 runs in just 67 balls and took his team to an easy win. His strike rate is 114.05 in the tournament. Tom Latham along with keeping is now leading the team in absence of Kane and he did this job pretty well. Also his batting improved and hit back to back half centuries in his last two matches where he batted against Netherlands and Afghanistan.     

Glenn Phillips scored a knock of 71 runs against Afghanistan and took his team to a defending total from a dangerous situation. Not only with his bat, he is bowling well and got 3 wickets till now in the tournament, giving his team an extra bowling option. Mark Chapman didn’t get much chance in batting as he came in down the order but against Afghanistan he played a destructive innings of 25 runs in just 12 balls.     

Mitchell Santner grabbed 11 wickets in the 4 matches with an economy of 4.41. He is showing some great spells and creating problems for the batsmen. Also with his batting he showed some fireworks where he scored unbeaten 36 runs in just 17 balls against Netherlands. Matt Henry is not too far behind from him and has grabbed 9 wickets till now. His excellent line and length makes him more aggressive. 

Lockie Ferguson getting back to back 3 wickets in his last two matches put him in a stronghold. His bouncer with a sheer pace makes it uncomfortable for the batsmen to play. Averaging 16.67 till now in the tournament. Trent Boult got 5 wickets till now in the 4 matches and is troubling the opposition with his swing.
