The 12th match of the tournament will be played between India (IND) and Pakistan (PAK). The much awaited match for which millions of fans are waiting for.

India is currently in 3rd place with 4 points (1.500) in 2 matches having won both the matches whereas Pakistan is at 4th place with 4 points (0.927) in 2 matches and they also won both their matches. Due to higher run rate India placed above Pakistan. 

India (IND) Analysis:

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is looking in top form. He scored zero in the first match, but in the 2nd match he not only scored a century but also created many records. He is currently holding the most sixes hit by a batsman in international cricket breaking the record of Chris Gayle. Also he has the most number of centuries (7) in the World Cup breaking the previous record of Sachin Tendulkar (6). Fastest to score 1000 runs in the World Cup in 19 innings, joining the record of David Warner.   

Ishan Kishan looked good against Afghanistan and played some good shots. He also scored zero in his first match against Australia. He is in good touch in the recent ODI series and played brilliantly in any position he batted. Virat Kohli the man in form as he scored 140 runs in the 2 matches and in both the matches he scored half centuries. In his last match against Afghanistan he remained unbeaten till the end. Shubman Gill returned to the side and might be seen in the playing 11 as he was out due to dengue.   

KL Rahul after making his comeback in the Asia Cup is looking dangerous with the bat. Against Australia he batted brilliantly and scored 97 runs also remaining unbeaten at the end. He is now holding the keeping gloves. He has shown great dependency in the middle order. Shreyas Iyer also batted well in the recent Australian series where he scored a century and also against Afghanistan in the World Cup he played well. Suryakumar Yadav is also a great option for the team in the middle overs and showed some brilliant innings in the recent few matches. 

Hardik Pandya is an aggressive player but can play slow also according to the situation. He knows how to finish things. Also with his bowling he adds a great option to the team. He can take wickets whenever the team needs. Ravindra Jadeja is a highly dependable player in the team. He already showed his power in the bowling department against Australia where he got 3 wickets and put them on the backfoot. He also can bat in the death overs and can add valuable runs in the end.  

Ravichandran Ashwin is a threat to the batsmen in the Indian pitches. His bowling is not easy to read out. In the first match he bowled an economical spell of 34 runs in 10 overs. Shardul Thakur bowled well in the last match against Afghanistan and also took a splendid catch to dismiss Rahmanullah Gurbaz. He can also bat aggressively in lower down the order. 

Jasprit Bumrah is looking aggressive with his bowling and took 6 wickets till now in the 2 matches. He is hard to beat up by the batsman. In the death overs batsman find it difficult to score runs easily. Mohammad Siraj is looking little off line and length but he can easily make his comeback as he showed his brilliancy in the recent few matches. 

Kuldeep Yadav is the main spinner for the team and he justified his bowling very well. Confusing the batsmen and then getting some wickets in between. Mohammad Shami is having vast experience in ODI which must be helpful for the team in difficult situations.

Pakistan (PAK) Analysis:

Abdullah Shafique got a chance to open and was playing in place of Fakhar Zaman. Shafique justified the position well and scored his maiden century in international cricket and that comes in a World Cup must be a happy moment for him. He sorted out the opening combo for which Pakistan was suffering from in the last few matches. Imam-ul-Haq is yet to provide a solid innings in the tournament. He has the ability to score big as shown by him in the recent few matches. Fakhar Zaman who is struggling with his form was ruled out from the playing 11 against Sri Lanka.

Babar Azam, the skipper of the team, doesn’t look in his prime form. He is struggling with the bat and in the two matches he scored just 15 runs. Team is expecting a great innings from him. Mohammad Rizwan is looking in tremendous form and scored 199 runs till now in the 2 matches. In the last match against Sri Lanka he played a winning knock of 131 runs not out and took his team to a record chase.  

Saud Shakeel batted well in the middle order. Against Netherlands he showed his great skill with the bat and took his team out of a dangerous situation.  Also was the player of the match in that game. Iftikhar Ahmed is a great batter in the middle order. He batted sensibly in difficult situations. Also has the ability to get some wickets with the bowl. 

Mohammad Nawaz, a great allrounder for the team has the ability to bat harder in the death overs. Also can get wickets easily with the bowl. Shadab Khan is also a great allrounder from the side and can bat aggressively in the death overs and is wicket taking bowler from the side.  

Shaheen Afridi, despite getting a good start with the bowl, failed to capitalize it in the end. He is missing his rhythm and was expensive against Sri Lanka. Haris Rauf bowled well against Netherlands but looked a little sloppy against Sri Lanka. He scored runs in the last match but somehow managed 2 wickets in the last over. Hasan Ali is bowling well and took 6 wickets till now. He was included into the team in place of Naseem Shah and is bowling brilliantly.
