India stuns Pakistan in a tense low-scoring battle

The much awaited encounter goes in favour of India after they beat Pakistan by 6 runs in a low score thriller.

India in their last encounter got an easy victory over Ireland whereas Pakistan got a shocking defeat from USA in the Super Over.

Babar Azam, after winning the toss, chooses to bowl first.

India scored 119/10 in 20 overs and in reply Pakistan only managed 113/7 in 20 overs.

Rishabh Pant was the highest scorer from the side with 42 runs in 31 balls. He hit 6 boundaries in his knock. After him none of the other batters tried to get some healthy runs with the bat. Axar Patel was the next highest scorer with 20 runs.

Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah got 3 wickets each. Mohammad Amir got 2 wickets while Shaheen Afridi got 1 wicket.

Men in Green struggled a lot in the chase. Mohammad Rizwan was their highest scorer with 31 runs and that took 44 balls to reach there. He hit one four and one six in his knock. In their knock hardly any boundaries and sixes were seen.

Naseem Shah towards the end, hit 2 back to back boundaries, but the target was beyond the reach.

The Men in Blue were horribly brilliant in their bowling as they made the sweat out of the men in green to score runs. Jasprit Bumrah led the team with his brilliant 3 wickets in 4 overs and gave away just 14 runs. Hardik Pandya got 2 wickets while Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel got 1 wicket each.
