Huge blow for Aussies as Mitchell Marsh returned home

Australia’s star all rounder, Mitchell Marsh has been returned to Australia due to some personal reasons. He will miss the match against England in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

His return date is yet to be finalised. He is getting his rhythm back in the batting and scored 225 runs in 6 matches which includes a century against Pakistan. Also with the bowling he got 2 wickets against Netherlands. He is a hard hitter of the ball and showed some gigantic sixes in this World Cup

He might be replaced by Marcus Stoinis as Stoinis carries the same hitting power and can bowl sometimes in the middle overs.

Through their Social Media handle it was announced, “Aussie all rounder Mitch Marsh has returned home from the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup for personal reasons. A timeline on his return to the squad is to be confirmed.”

Aussies are already in a stage to make sure to win in every match so that their Semi Finals round will be clear and this blow will definitely affect them very much. They are already without Glenn Maxwell who got injured after falling off the golf cart.

Australia is currently in 3rd position with 8 points in 6 matches and are having high probability for their qualification in the next round, if they keep performing well in the remaining matches.
