Gambhir’s explosive rant leaves Indian players stunned

After a devastating performance in the 4th test match, Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir finally broke his silence. He doesn’t look happy after the 184 runs lost in the MCG test.

According to the reports of The Indian Express, as the players returned to the dressing room after the defeat, the Indian head coach lashed out at some players and said, ‘I had enough’.

In the last day of the 4th test match India needed 340 runs to win but they only managed 155 runs and lost the match by 184 runs. At one point of time, India lost 3 wickets at just 33 runs in the 2nd innings and then Yashasvi Jaiswal (84 runs) and Rishabh Pant (30 runs) provided a 88 runs partnership for the 4th wicket. But after the departure of Pant, the team suddenly went into the backfoot and lost the remaining 7 wickets after adding more 34 runs on the board.

The batters choked heavily in the 2nd innings. Rohit Sharma’s weakness against the skipper Pat Cummins dismissed him in both the innings. Virat Kohli struggled to play shots outside off, which the Aussies took advantage of very well. KL Rahul also didn’t perform well in both the innings.

The dismissal of Jaiswal was highly controversial and after the match the BCCI slammed the decision made by the third umpire.

With this loss, Australia now lead the 5 match series 2-1 and the final test match (5th) will get on track on January 3rd – 7th in Sydney.
