Gambhir’s allegations on Ganguly spark huge controversy

India’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir got huge allegations from his former KKR teammate Manoj Tiwari. This time the head coach was blamed for saying unwanted words towards the former BCCI President Sourav Ganguly.

Both Tiwari and Gambhir shared the same dressing room in the IPL for KKR from 2011-2013. Tiwari played under the captaincy of the Indian head coach. Both of them lifted the trophy in the 2012 season.

But things didn’t go well between them during the Ranji Trophy match in 2015, where both the players had some heated arguments against each other. After that incident the relationship between them didn’t settle well and the rivalry still exists.

During a recent interview with Lallantop, Tiwari revealed how Gambhir told unnecessary things about the former – Indian skipper and BCCI President Ganguly, he said, “When he was constantly abusing, I remember Sourav Ganguly had just joined CAB (Cricket Association of Bengal). He was speaking rubbish about him too. He said things like Woh apna jack laga ke aa gaya. Tu bhi uske peeche aa gaya? Tu bhi yeh sab karke pohuch gaya. (He used his sources to reach where he has, and you too followed him? You’re up to such shenanigans too).”

Manoj played for Bengal in the domestic circuit for quite a long time where he already led the team for many years. As Ganguly was the president of CAB during the time Manoj played, therefore both of them were having a great bonding towards each other.

When Gautam told rubbish things about the former Indian skipper, Manoj told the whole incident to Sourav to which he replied, “theek hai’ (It’s fine).”
